Commentary: We can battle climate change and invasive species in our own backyards by Dr. Dave Coyle
ProForest's Director, Dr. Dave Coyle, wrote a piece for The Post and Courier, Charleston's main daily paper. Dave is an Assistant Professor of forest health and invasive species at Clemson University.
Dave's commentary offers hope for a path forward on two contentious issues: invasive species and climate change. He suggests that first we acknowledge the issues, then we make changes in our own backyards that have positive impacts on invasive species and climate change. Dave says "And while you may not see immediate changes, it's sort of like the children's book "How Full is Your Bucket": Every drop matters, and over time, they add up and create a positive change."
