Dr. Andrés Susaeta is assistant research scientist of forest resource economics and policy, at the University of Florida IFAS School of Forest, Fisheries, and Geomatics Sciences. He uses forest optimization models and applied econometrics to assess the economic impacts of climate change and invasive species on forests health and productivity. He also investigates the effects of different policy scenarios that can enhance forest health and resilience.
