Dr. Jason Vogel is associate professor of forest ecosystems science at the School of Forest, Fisheries, and Geomatics Sciences. His research intends to understand how resilient forest processes and attributes are as they respond to climate change, disturbance, and management decisions. He also investigates how silviculture can be used to restore and maintain the attributes of forests that are important to society.
